Learn To Dance
Our Recreational Program is designed for students who are only interested in studying dance as a fun extracurricular activity. Students registering for this program will not be prepared for dance examinations, solos, duets, trios or entrance into dance competitions, but will perform in our annual recital. In this program, students will select the disciplines they wish to study from the following available classes:
Students 3 – 4 – 5 Years of Age, attend one class on Saturday mornings. The classes are designed to instill a love of moving and dancing while promoting physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth in a positive environment:
Students 6 – 7 – 8 Years of Age, have the option of studying ballet, tap, jazz or hip hop. They may choose to study one, two, three or all of the disciplines offered. Each class meets for one hour every week. The students who are studying jazz may also choose to add acro for one hour every week.
STUDENTS 8 YEARS OF AGE WHO WISH TO STUDY BALLET, TAP & JAZZ SHOULD CONSIDER OUR PROGRAM “B”
Students 9 years of Age and up have the option of studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Musical Theatre or Acro. They may choose to study as many disciplines as they desire.
Students 18 years of age and up can take classes for adults of all levels. Please inquire to see what classes are being offered.

Students are placed in classes based on age and previous dance experience. Please contact us to ascertain which class is best suited to you.
STUDENTS WITH A PASSION FOR DANCE WHO WISH TO STUDY MORE SERIOUSLY SHOULD CONSIDER OUR PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM “A”
Tap, Jazz & ballet
Program “B” is designed for students 8 and 9 years of age who wish to study Ballet, Tap and Jazz. These students must be recommended to study in the program by one of our faculty members. They will not be prepared for dance examinations or entrance in dance competitions, but will perform 3 dances in our annual recital. The class meets two days a week for 2 classes each day.
*Program “B” students have the option of adding acro and hip hop
Exams & Competitions
Our Pre-professional Program is designed for the student who has a sincere passion for dance. These students must be recommended to study in the program by one of our faculty members. Students in this program will be prepared for dance examinations, administered by the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association, in Ballet, Tap and Jazz and entrance into Dance Competitions, and will perform in our annual recital. Students must take all classes scheduled for their level to be eligible for enrollment in the pre-professional program, and are expected to put dance above any other extra-curricular commitments. Students enrolled in this program also have the option of adding additional classes to their weekly study, as noted below.
Program “A” Mandatory Classes
Students enrolled in Program “A” have the option of adding:
*around 12 years of age, if our faculty feels the student is ready, they will add Pointe to their Ballet training
**once the students reach high school, Tap may be switched out with Contemporary
Our studio provides lessons for students ages 3 and up.
Adult classes are also available!
